The drink comprises carbonated water, sugar, fruit juice from concentrates (2%)—including apple, white grape, papaya, and mango—glucose syrup, taurine (0.4%), citric acid, malic acid, natural flavors, sodium citrate, Panax ginseng root extract (0.08%), caffeine (0.03%), potassium sorbate (preservative), sucralose (sweetener), glycerol esters of wood rosin (stabilizer), vitamins (niacin/B3, riboflavin/B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12), maltodextrin, L-carnitine L-tartrate (0.004%), guarana extract (0.002%), inositol, and color (E129). ​

Monster Energy Rio Punch does not contain any of the 14 major allergens as defined by UK and EU food regulations. It is also gluten-free and GMO-free. However, due to its high caffeine content (32mg per 100ml), it is not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals sensitive to caffeine.
